This superb movie, from writer/director Malcolm Martin (featuring our very own Baz Warne as a 'henchman'!) will be released on 7th July and is now available for pre-order from various outlets, check out which plus all the latest news, film synopsis, video clips etc., (all you need to know!) at SUCKERPUNCH
The musical score for the movie was provided by Baz and JJ Burnel.

ROBOT ELVIS REVIEW:

THE STRANGLERS:
Baz is set for a busy summer and autumn as THE STRANGLERS have confirmed a host of summer festival appearances and an extensive UK 'Hits Tour' through October/November...
The festivals will take The Stranglers the length of Europe from the land of lochs (Scotland) to the sunny shores of Spain and Portugal, including a first ever gig in Isreal (I think that's right...?)...
The extensive autumn tour will see The Stranglers covering the British Isles, from Dublin to Inverness to the Isle of Man with a total of 23 shows...!

Ian 'Big Mac' McDonald
A very good friend of Baz, Ian 'Big Mac' McDonald passed away in January this year and ROBOT ELVIS will be part of a special show to be staged in honour of the big man up in his native Northeast. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation. Tickets will be a very moderately priced £5.00. Bands appearing are:

Lots of other things will be happening on the night and there will be a few musical guests to keep things lively, though with the above-mentioned bands things should be lively enough!!
Baz said:
"Mac was a big guy physically and also a huge local music fan attending gigs at the Smugglers in Sunderland every week and could always be seen at the end of the bar nursing a cold Stella and shouting encouragement...he'll be hugely missed and we want to do our bit for him."

The popular Channel 4 (UK) programme, 'Time Team' were excavating on the adjacent fields to the studio where the Stranglers recorded Suite XVI last year and Baz and a couple of band members decided to 'investigate' for themselves! It certainly was a busy year for Baz last year, with around 90 gigs all in all, a lot of travelling across the UK and Europe, and the recording of the awesome Stranglers album 'Suite XVI'. A hectic year, but a very memorable one...thanks for the music Baz, and let's have even more this year!!! [Geoff]

The show starts at 1.00pm (GMT). There is also a 'Listen Again' facility for those who can't tune in live...so you have no excuses for missing the show!!

ROBOT ELVIS...Baz and some of his close friends and fellow musicians have put a band together to play a few gigs in the first week of December. The man just can't stop gigging!! The band is called ROBOT ELVIS !! Baz is joined by Dave Taggart (Belinda Carlisle/Jimmy Nail bands), Jos Elliott (The Animals/The Alligators/Scandalous Bachelors) and Baz Crosby (Sun Devils). There's been a pause in news lately due to the host server being out of service as a result of a lightening strike! However, normal service has now resumed! Firstly you can catch Baz and JJ Burnel giving an interview to Simon Mayo on BBC Radio 2's Chart Show. The show was aired last Monday, 25th sept. It can be replayed as always (until Mon., 2nd Oct) via the BBC Radio 2 website... Clink here to access the show. The interview starts at about 25 minutes into the show. I trust you've all bought the excellent 'Suite XVI' by now!! They are playing at least five tracks on the current tour too, get your tickets while you can, places are selling out, and enjoy!!
