As Baz approaches his 30th year in the music business, it's testament to his huge talent and passion for his music that he has come through the numerous challenges that he's faced on his journey, from an innocent(?) 16 year-old embracing his first gig in South Shields in 1980, to later joining local (crazy) punk outfit Toy Dolls (as bassist), through the heartache of the demise of Smalltown Heroes and on to the enormous challenge of fronting legendary rockers The Stranglers, a feat he has accomplished with style - and attitude! His contribution to The Stranglers has re-juvenated the band and their latest material is truly of the highest quality which has been greeted with critical acclaim from all sections of the music industry and a string of contemporary bands...and their live shows continue to sell out as their reputation as a fierce, arse-kickin' live act lives on...
Baz's solo recordings has seen him release a collection of self-penned songs as well as a few songs by other artist that have impressed him over time...such as Neil Young, Alice Cooper and AC/DC - eclectic...!
